Ranah Seni TENGGARA or TENGGARA Art Land

Is an art group which organizes and initiates activities in art and culture, especially in the field of visual art that focuses on multicultural art and the appreciation of plurality, concentrating on the Southeast Asia region.

TENGGARA works fervently in the instigation of cultural projects, establishing relationships amongst different communities as well as developing a regional art network within its own country and across its neighboring countries. The group was formed on 7 January 2010 by nine Indonesian artists who come from different backgrounds but are brought together by a shared vision and through similar practice. Although Ranah Seni TENGGARA is still a relatively new group, the members has been in existence actively initiating various art and cultural activities in Yogyakarta and other cities in Indonesia as well Southeast Asia since year 2000.
